I’m an Austin, TX based contemporary artist working in photography.

I’m currently pursuing more Portrait sessions as I develop as a photographer. I love the way a photograph can capture a personality as well as bring a sense of drama to the scene. The Florals collection started during the beginning of quarantine. I live alone near a park full of wildflowers, so my only real connection was me and my camera with these flowers. That turned into building a studio where I shoot flowers. The experience gives me a connected experience with another living thing, plus it shows a sort of isolation. Each photo shoot has a personality and story, and the titles for each photo relate to how I see those flowers existing.

The Figures collection expands on the Florals collection by putting myself in front of the camera as well as friends. I was inspired when I started backlighting all of my figures. it gives a glow to the figure that almost shows more than with direct light. All of these play on how the light affects the way the figure looks.
